Each year Beacon conducts actuarial reviews of all our safety groups. After taking into consideration the impact of rate reductions,
the projections may or may not support expiring discount programs. As a result, some safety groups have disbanded,
while others remain as service groups in order for Beacon to continue to provide group loss prevention services.
Each year an analysis and filing with the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation is made on each Safety Group to determine if the criteria have been met to remain a safety group.
