We have over 12,000 policyholders and insure 60 percent of Rhode Island's Workers' Compensation market.

We are financially secure, with over $435 million in assets and $1.58 in surplus for every premium dollar written. Since writing our first policy in 1992, we have helped to stabilize the workers' compensation market and lower costs. The average premium per $100 in payroll charged to Beacon policyholders has been reduced from $3.93 in 1993 to $1.73 in 2009.
