Medical Insurance:
Beacon offers comprehensive PPO and HMO programs through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Rhode Island at an extremely generous cost sharing arrangement  between Beacon and the employee.

Dental Insurance:
Beacon offers a comprehensive dental care program through Delta Dental of Rhode Island. The plan includes a generous $1,500 annual per person cap on benefits.

Vision Care Insurance:
Beacon offers a comprehensive eye care program through Vision Service Plan (VSP). The plan includes a wide network of participating doctors. Currently, Beacon pays 100% of the cost of eye care coverage.

Retirement Program:
Beacon is committed to the financial well being of our employees during retirement as evidenced by our 401K program.

Flexible Spending Account/Dependent Care Account:
This program permits employees to set aside monies on a pre-tax basis to pay for out-of-pocket medical expenses or qualified dependent care expenses.

Life Insurance:
Beacon provides term life insurance through Jefferson Pilot equal to two times an employee's base salary (up to 500k max) at no cost to the employee. Additionally, supplemental term life insurance is available for the employee, spouse and/or children.

Long-Term Disability Insurance:
Beacon provides long-term disability insurance through Jefferson Pilot at no cost to you. The program provides 60% income replacement in the event of a qualifying long-term disability.

College Benefit Program for Children of Employees:
Provides up to $1,500 per dependent child, per academic year, of financial assistance for tuition, registration, fees, books, and other eligible educational expenses. Eligible employees must have one or more years of service and work 30 or more hours per week. Eligible children are unmarried, financially dependent and age 23 or younger.

College Bound Fund:
A flexible college savings program, the College Bound Fund, is available through Alliance Capital. Employees may participate in this voluntary program through payroll deductions.
