medical providers are expected to follow Medical Advisory Board (MAB) protocols
and bill according to the Rhode Island Fee Schedule.

As a Medical Provider, you can expect:

Prompt payment for services rendered.

Professional response to requests and/or questions.

Personal communication. (Options: telephone or voice mail, e-mail, facsimile).
Providers should call Mitchell International Customer Service at
1-800-732-0153 when looking for the status regarding payment of a
bill.
Providers should contact Beacon Mutual Insurance Company's Utilization
Management Unit by phone 401-825-2989 or fax 401-825-2854 when
looking for authorization to treat an injured worker.
