Are you committed to hospital workplace safety?

The Hospital Workplace Violence Protection Act, recently passed by the RI General Assembly, requires every hospital in Rhode Island to provide programs and controls to curb the threat of workplace physical violence to their employees. We know this can be a daunting task so we’d like to offer an open forum for hospital workers to dialogue about any aspect of hospital workplace violence. Some avenues for discussion include case studies, effective policies and procedures, creating a positive reporting culture, identifying environmental factors, debriefing an incident, and de-escalation training methods. Please join the conversation. You may submit your discussion ideas and questions in advance of the forum to beaconLP@beaconmutual.com. Your identity and your hospital’s identity will be protected, unless you suggest otherwise.

We invite you to join an informal open forum about Hospital Workplace Violence. This webinar is free and open to the public. We encourage healthcare professionals to register.

Webinars are open to the public.
