Hospitality Industry Safety is important to many Rhode Island employers. Current exposures to workers include serious occupational hazards. The objective of this webinar is to provide attendees with the ability to define common occupational safety and health terms, identify common hazards found in restaurants and the hospitality industry, and determine appropriate procedures and best practices to eliminate or reduce employee injury.
Following the webinar, participants will be able to:
- Identify common injuries found in the hospitality industry
- Conduct risk assessments of work activities and work areas and identify hazard controls
- Coach employees on safe work processes
- Manage a Hospitality Industry safety program including injury and illness prevention.
